Hi, I’m Melissa.

I’m the author of Divine Encounters…, Divine Appointments…, Divine Whispers…, and Divine Presence…; also known as The Divine Series.  I’m a Northern California native living in the Francisco Bay Area with my husband, Paul, and our cats. We have two adult children.

I’m passionate about Jesus, nature, writing, and gardening. I love early mornings on my patio with really good coffee, meaningful conversations, and volunteering with a local food distribution nonprofit. Paul and I enjoy trying new restaurants, being refreshed by the ocean, hiking, and camping in the Redwoods.

Walking with Jesus through life’s ups and downs—including my journey through breast cancer—I’ve found that He often speaks in the quiet moments through a soft breeze, a sunrise, or an unexpected conversation. These small moments are divine opportunities to pause, listen, and notice His presence. All that’s needed is an open heart, open eyes, and a willingness to accept His invitation.
